long-time advocate in the Hispanic community, is a writer, and editor
of The HOLA Journal/El Periódico HOLA.
She also handles the day-to-day tasks for HOLA, including fundraising
through advertising sales. She is of Mexican-Hungarian descent.

Gladys E. Figueroa, is
a Victim Advocate for the Lake County Prosecuting Attorney’s
Victim Assistance Program. She writes “Dear Gladys,”
a regular column for The HOLA Journal/El Periódico HOLA.
She serves on several HOLA committees, and represents HOLA at community
meetings. She is Puerto-Rican.

Marisol Colon, who
is Puerto Rican, is widely recognized for doing outreach in Painesville’s
Hispanic community for many years. In addition to teaching childbirth
education classes, she works full-time for Lake County Children’s
Services.

on immigration matters. She has an active law office in Painesville,
specializing in immigration law cases. She also serves as legal
advisor for HOLA.
